# Buildings PowerUps

Buildings can be upgraded to achieve greater productivity and efficiency in the structures you choose to improve. This process allows you to maximize the benefits of specific buildings, enhancing their outputs and overall performance.

To initiate an upgrade, you will need to assign a god to each building you wish to improve. Each god has a preferred type of building where they offer the most significant benefits, while their influence may be less impactful in others.

<table><thead><tr><th width="119">Dios</th><th>City Hall</th><th>Mine</th><th>Farm</th><th>Sawmill</th><th width="119">Warehouse</th><th>Barracks</th><th>Housing</th><th width="109">Research</th><th>Wall</th></tr></thead><tbody><tr><td>Zeus</td><td>+25%</td><td>0</td><td>0</td><td>+50%</td><td>0</td><td>-25%</td><td>0</td><td>0</td><td>0</td></tr><tr><td>Poseidon</td><td>0</td><td>+50%</td><td>+25%</td><td>-25%</td><td>0</td><td>0</td><td>0</td><td>0</td><td>0</td></tr><tr><td>Anubis</td><td>0</td><td>-25%</td><td>0</td><td>0</td><td>0</td><td>0</td><td>+50%</td><td>0</td><td>+25%</td></tr><tr><td>Osiris</td><td>+50%</td><td>0</td><td>0</td><td>+25%</td><td>-25%</td><td>0</td><td>0</td><td>0</td><td>0</td></tr><tr><td>Isis</td><td>0</td><td>0</td><td>0</td><td>0</td><td>+25%</td><td>0</td><td>0</td><td>-25%</td><td>+50%</td></tr><tr><td>Thor</td><td>-25%</td><td>0</td><td>+50%</td><td>0</td><td>0</td><td>0</td><td>+25%</td><td>0</td><td>0</td></tr><tr><td>Loki</td><td>0</td><td>0</td><td>-25%</td><td>0</td><td>0</td><td>+25%</td><td>0</td><td>+50%</td><td>0</td></tr><tr><td>Odin</td><td>0</td><td>+25%</td><td>0</td><td>0</td><td>+50%</td><td>0</td><td>-25%</td><td>0</td><td>0</td></tr></tbody></table>

When you assign a god to a building, several advantages come into play:

* **Reduction in Time and Cost**: The god's presence lowers the resources and time required for the upgrade.
* **Enhanced Performance**: The base productivity of the building increases, amplified further by the unique bonuses provided by the chosen god.

Each god’s specific preferences and strengths will directly influence the scale of these benefits, making strategic assignment essential to achieving optimal results. By carefully pairing gods with their preferred buildings, you can significantly improve your game strategy and resource management.

Additionally, the rarity of the god will further influence the scale of the benefits you receive. Higher rarity gods provide greater boosts, amplifying the base benefits of the building significantly more than those of lower rarity.

This means that assigning a rare or legendary god to a building can result in substantial improvements in productivity, cost efficiency, and time reduction, compared to more common gods. Leveraging the rarity system strategically allows you to maximize your gains and achieve the most out of your upgrades, adding another layer of depth to your building enhancement strategy.

<table><thead><tr><th width="206">Rarity</th><th>Benefit</th><th>Cost</th></tr></thead><tbody><tr><td>Common</td><td>+5%</td><td>50</td></tr><tr><td>Uncommon</td><td>+10%</td><td>100</td></tr><tr><td>Rare</td><td>+15%</td><td>200</td></tr><tr><td>Epic</td><td>+20%</td><td>500</td></tr><tr><td>Legend</td><td>+25%</td><td>1000</td></tr></tbody></table>

**Each level also applies an additional 1% bonus to the rarity bonus.**

To clarify, here’s an example of the exact calculation:

* **Thor** - *Uncommon* - Level 3 → *Farm*
  * **Uncommon rarity bonus**: 10%
  * **Level bonus**: 3% (Level 3 = 1% per level)
  * **Thor's preference for Farms**: +50%

**Final result**:\
10+10×(50+3)=15.3%

However, when you assign a god to a building, that god will become locked in that building for **3 days**. During this time, the god cannot be reassigned to another site, so careful planning is essential when deciding which god to allocate to each construction.

This mechanic adds a strategic element to the upgrade process, requiring players to balance the immediate benefits of assigning a god with the long-term implications of their temporary unavailability. Selecting the right god for the right building at the right time becomes critical to maximizing efficiency and overall game progression.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://gods-glory.gitbook.io/gods-glory-whitepaper/game/buildings/buildings-powerups.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
